09 Sep Cab and Boiler Lifted as Work Continues

Over the last few weeks and months, significant amounts of work on Lizzie have been continuing at Carnforth in Lancashire.  Firstly, the cab was removed so that the boiler could be released, and now the boiler has been lifted by crane from the frames too so that a full and proper assessment of the boiler can take place soon too.
