Lizzie hauled the train effortlessly up the East Coast Mainline to the delight of passengers and onlookers alike. Whilst a diesel locomotive took the passengers onwards to Peak Rail, 6201 was serviced as planned at Derby\u2019s Chaddesden Sidings, but on carrying out a routine checks, it was discovered that the water pipe between the tender and locomotive had been torn off; possibly on a tight curve entering the sidings. Despite the best efforts of the fireman and crew, unfortunately the repair couldn\u2019t be completed without a suitable maintenance pit and in time to take the train back to London.
