The issue reported late on the evening of Friday 17th June was a bearing on the front bogie running hot, and was the reason that, sadly, 6201 couldn’t take the PMR Tours charter to York and Scarborough as planned. The bearing problem is now being dealt with by the engineering team, and we hope to have some positive news again shortly following repair. Contributions towards the expected cost of repairs are always very welcome
